The building of Nehemiah’s twelve gates of spiritual progression including the building of Solomon’s Temple; all of which indicates vertical and horizontal relationships of trust and confidence in God. Apparently, this was intended for illustrative purposes.
The lessons of pure, vibrant and wholesome trust in God, exemplified by (monarchical prophet) Moses also, provides illuminating spiritual insights and inspiration on how to deal with personal and collective scourge of an outward ritualistic and superficial notion of working for God; having a form of godliness but ultimately, denying the transforming power of the gospel .. For God showed Moses his ways but the children of Israel, His acts.
Knowledge gleaned from the old testament content of the Bible remain very relevant as it is what informs the knowledge of God for today’s applications. Gleaning and recollection of past knowledge from the ancient, who knew the- God of creation thoroughly through diverse experiences; relays the foundations of faith in the existence of the true God in our modern world.
This website will attempt to relay the foundations of faith, hope and the God- kind of love using, the lessons gathered from twelve images on the home page. This would probably answer the relevant question Jesus asked ‘‘when the son of man cometh, shall he find faith in the earth’’? And also attempt to answer other mind boggling questions in the Bible.
It is the view of the Home Fellowship System, that the son of man shall find faith equivalent to that of the founding fathers in Hebrews 11: ( Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Deborah, Paul, Silas and most of all, the faith of the pattern son) in the year of the redeemed.
Ultimately, He will find faith that would endure that great day of His visitation. He will also find apostolic faith for the new covenant, beyond the faith of our forebears.
God will pour upon His people, the spirit of faith that is balanced with the God-kind of work; giving credence to solving tough spiritual problems that have always been with the church, since inception. Undoubtedly, the son of man will find faith that would meet the needs of groaning creation, which was made subject to vanity. As It is written, ‘He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities’. Is 53:11. Again, the son of man shall find faith on the earth, on account of the actual return of the prodigal son, the loss sheep and the loss coin of FAITH.
OUR MESSAGE TO YOU, A REFLECTION ON THE WORK OF GOD IN OUR MODERN WORLD
The normative principles of faith based knowledge in God’s plan, purposes and pursuits contained in the Holy Scriptures presents, a blessed hope to every believer based on ‘Grace’ as an icon of the new covenant in our modern world. Grace is God’s given ability to be… and to do the-God required act as at when due and when God pleases. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
The image ‘parable of the sower’ in this column is in keeping with the law of seedtime and harvest in the spirit as well as the physical. “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” Gen.8:22. Thus, the parable of the four soils indicates, different (human) heart conditions on which the seed of the word of God fell upon and continues to fall today. The parable also indicates internal and external hindrances in the environment where the sower’s seed fell. The work of predatory spirits (birds of the air) and more particularly, germinating stages of the word of God in and among witnesses of the gospel with varying degrees of divine awareness and transformations in our modern world.
The parable of the wheat and tares in the synoptic gospel of Matthew 13:24-30,36-43, orchestrates first of all, the environment of all persons (human beings) limited by carnal senses as being the field (world), upon which the wheat and the tares grew under different circumstances. The wheat represents believers of the gospel who have their spiritual senses exercised to discern good and evil, doctrinally and the tares represents carnal (fleshly) senses in a believer’s life, if not checked would ultimately make any believer to be at enmity with God, a son of the wicked.
OUR MESSAGE TO YOU, A REFLECTION ON THE WORK OF GOD IN THE FUTURE
In a nutshell, what is significant about the image of the manifestation of the sons of God, is what it took to be placed as a son, what it also meant to be a full grown and mature son of God in the real world, full of grace and truth. This implies the earth once more, will hold and have, genuine apostolic prophets, priest and kings with problem solving talents.
The image on the resurrection of the dead is an indication of God’s promise to bring to a higher realm of life in the Spirit, those who acknowledged by divine instructions that they were dead in tresspasses and sin nature and have been raised up with Christ to seat together in heavenly places. These, are they who may partake in the first resurrection and the second death is not their portion. They also who slept in the Lord in all ages, they without the company of the first resurrection cannot be perfected. Therefore, the out resurrection from among the dead is the greatest and ultimate, hope of the believer in Christ.
The image, symbolised by the promise of an awesome new heaven and new earth is, significant as it represents the glorified body of the overcomers in their original habitation . The scriptures does not teach, heaven as a place in the clouds and spirits floating or hanging in the air, as in the erroneous concept of rapture. It is important to note the invisible things of God from the beginning, are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead.
